2013 - 2014 School News
In Catholic education, we are always living the present and anticipating the future! The 2013 - 2014 school year is upon us and looking ever bright for Saint Ferdinand! With the recent addition of cutting edge interactive projection systems and cameras in our classrooms, and the continued growth of our one-to-one Apple technology program.
We are also excited about the many enhancements to our academic programming that have begun in the current school year and will continue into the next. We will continue to build on the success of our focused reading and writing programs that meticulously track student progress over the year. We will also be introducing special progress monitoring in math to ensure the most effective mathematics program.
We will continue to build on our STEM program so that more students are afforded the opportunity to wrestle with fun and challenging engineering and science projects.
The 2013-2014 school year will see a more aggressive mobilization of our resources to begin raising money for our campus expansion. We are currently finalizing plans for the renovation and pricing for the renovations and should have this phase ready for fund raising beginning in summer of 2013.

Night at the Races
Are you ready for a wholesome night at the races? Well get ready for a family fun-filled Night at the Races! Parents can ante up to bet on the various class horses and win great prizes! There will also be lovely silent auction items from which to choose. Dinner will also be available.
The event is set for Saturday, May 18, from 5:30 pm - 9 pm in the parish hall. Admission at the gate will be $2 a person. Make plans to bring the family as there will be something for everyone!
Summer School 2013
Summer School at Saint Ferdinand is back! That's right! Summer School is scheduled to start on Monday, July 1st, through Thursday, July 18th. Summer School registration packets are available in the school office for pick - up. The summer program is open to students in preschool through eighth grade for both remediation and enrichment.
